He runs labels like Adult Only and Catwash ( together with DJ Wild ), produces and mixes for respected imprints such as Robsoul, Nightshift, Get Physical, Detour, Etroneek Funk and constantly smashes up clubs worldwide with his dj mixes between house, acid and electro - don’t you ask yourself how CHRIS CARRIER keeps up this crazy schedule? well, he finally reveals his secret, snatches of his mask and reveals a snarl of wires, circuit boards, touch and tactile sensors: he’s an ANDROID!!! with the swirling, hypnotic deep electrohouse makeover of the Kraftwerk classic “wir sind die roboter” he presents himself as the most recent and powerful design of entertainment androids that was modeled after those german steel characters with the red shirts, dark ties and the accurately parted plastic hair - designed for the sole purpose of bringing humans pleasure and make them shake their thing. is that last statement really true? sceptics are regularly pacified with the argument that those cute androids are devoid of human emotions, but why does Chris Carrier attack C&S lable head by calling the reduced, dangerously simmering and sizzling stomper on the flip: “i hate Jef K"? seems like “more human than human” wasn’t only tyrell’s motto.
