Chris Carrier and DJ Wild aka CATWASH add to CRACK & SPEED the second vital attribute of youth rebellion trinity - Sex - and swap Rock'n'Roll for heavy funkin tech-house (nevertheless rockin though): on "come to me" DJ Wild looms large his sugar daddy impression spurting out some real sleazy perverted lyrics over a perfectly paced romp-shaking beat and a fat penetrating bassline that gives birth to a drilling acidline escalating slowly to climax in classic wild pitch style. the flip seems to be dedicated to a less frivolous physical exercise, yet to those familiar with the local conditions "jogging in Bois de Boulogne" must not necessarly be restricted to long-distance running. anyway, whatever workout you fancy this nagging oldschool banger with cool euro disco style breakdown with surely spur you on to a physical peak performance.

He runs labels like Adult Only and Catwash ( together with DJ Wild ), produces and mixes for respected imprints such as Robsoul, Nightshift, Get Physical, Detour, Etroneek Funk and constantly smashes up clubs worldwide with his dj mixes between house, acid and electro - don’t you ask yourself how CHRIS CARRIER keeps up this crazy schedule? well, he finally reveals his secret, snatches of his mask and reveals a snarl of wires, circuit boards, touch and tactile sensors: he’s an ANDROID!!! with the swirling, hypnotic deep electrohouse makeover of the Kraftwerk classic “wir sind die roboter” he presents himself as the most recent and powerful design of entertainment androids that was modeled after those german steel characters with the red shirts, dark ties and the accurately parted plastic hair - designed for the sole purpose of bringing humans pleasure and make them shake their thing. is that last statement really true? sceptics are regularly pacified with the argument that those cute androids are devoid of human emotions, but why does Chris Carrier attack C&S lable head by calling the reduced, dangerously simmering and sizzling stomper on the flip: “i hate Jef K"? seems like “more human than human” wasn’t only tyrell’s motto.

Chris Carrier (France)
For over ten years, Chris Carrier, has been influenced by all different styles of music. Ranging from Hip Hop to Techno, House and Electro. All of which he creates, produces, and plays. He is one of the main producers of today's underground house music, Label owner and manager of such labels as Adult Only, and Catwash (with friend and Colleague, DJ Wild), and of course, a versatile DJ. He started in the underground Scene in 1994 with a few releases on a British label called Hexagonal. He quickly realized that he had the desire to direct his own projects and musical path. It is in 1996 that he founded the Chronobrain project with two friends and colleagues (Guillaume Latortue and?.. ? ). Eventually, Chronobrain gave birth to five side labels extensively called: Adult Only, Combustible, Taka, X86, and Direct Art. Along this path, and with the collaboration of Guillaume Latortue, they went on to produce over 100 EPs and 10 mix compilations from themselves and other artists from all over the world. During this time, the name LOGIC BOX was also used by Chris and Guillaume for some remix work they did for other labels.
2002 was a new beginning for Chris. He went on to produce many quality Ep's and rmx work for such respected labels as: Detour, Robsoul, Minority, CrackandSpeed, Nightshift, Get Physical, Etroneek Funk, Lord of sound, and Subscience. This trend is continuing today as chris has really made his mark and defined his own sound amongst the many house music producers of today. With regards to chris Carrier, the DJ; He is a versatile DJ playing anything . Nowadays, he's more on the housey and electro tip, playing all around the world from USA to Spain, UK, Holland, Germany, Eastern Europe, and beyond. In France, he has been spotted on the decks at such groundbreaking clubs as Le Queen, or Rex Club. Chris remains an active figure of the underground sound today. Continuing on this journey, he would like to thank everyone who have been with him and work with him along the way, past, present and future: Toxic, Stephanovitch, Jef K, Guillaume La Tortue, Fla, Bad Ced (Silver Haze), P.air, Wild, Phil Weeks, Hector Moralez, Sree, Cyril K, Torgull,etc...
